- Bought a ‘Protab’ (bottom-of-the-line laptop) for creative writing in bedroom, and to update notes/files while on the go, purchased a 1 yr “Microsoft Office 365” subscription, and will renew once in a year’s time, and upgrade to a proper gaming laptop in 2-3 yrs time when (hopefully) I have more money to splash
- Attended an Australian Writer’s Guild (AWG) seminar about “Pitching” yesterday 2/9, (only $10 – WOW!), and got plenty of benefit from it
‘Searing Blade 2’ (subtitle withheld): Mostly ending(s) and epilogue, and some slight tweaks remaining, before I can start on in-game docs
Dream Destiny: Mostly research – a hard drive crash in January 2016 lost my original notes, have essentially reconstructed them from memory, compiling notes and letting this project ‘percolate’ for a while
Lyrics: On-off as inspiration arises, a few songs partially written/without final titles, found – or ‘rediscovered’ – forgotten partial lyrics from 2015. A few lyrics were affected by ‘crash’ mentioned above, mostly lost lyric scraps and unformed lyrics, some songs luckily had earlier versions where I can reconstruct those lyrics (2016 hard drive crash essentially only affected earlier Dream Destiny notes and lyrics – nothing else affected [mostly lost game saves and installs]).
Super Power: Occasional minor tweaks (mostly dialogue), occasional conlang work
Non-Fiction: Due to certain events recently in August, I’m considering writing a second book – essentially a short, pocket-sized poetry book I plan to set a very low RRP for (e.g $2.95 AU, or thereabouts)
